Eden Dulse, Organic, Whole Leaf

Sea vegetable. Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick. Hand Harvested. Raw wild. Whole Leaf Eden Dulse is a tangy, certified organic, soft, crimson sea vegetable hand-harvested in a sustainable and regulated manner off Grand Manan Island near the mouth of the Bay of Fundy. Dulsers travel to the island in dories and harvest at low tide. Fronds are spread on nets over large flat stones on the beach for sun and sea breeze drying. Tasty and Versatile: A healthy snack as is or with cucumber or fresh fruit. Cut or tear it into bite-size pieces. To make it softer and reduce sodium, soak 2 minutes and slice. For salads, stir-fries, soups, chowders, pasta, and whole grain. Traditionally cooked with oat porridge, delicious in or on mashed potatoes, potato salad, dips, pesto, bread, scones, and pizza dough. For a crispy version, dry skillet roast on low or oven bake at 300 degrees F until crisp. Eat it like chips, crumble as garnish, or put on sandwiches, pizza and in breads. It's a tasty replacement for wakame in miso soup. Add it at the end of cooking. OCIA certified organic. 1000+ free recipes at edenfoods.com. Imported from Canada.
